DESCRIPTION:The Central Bank of Iran held its 26th open market operation au
 ction with 13 banks and non-bank credit institutions taking part. Of 2\,91
 1\,600 billion rials in repo bids\, it accepted 700\,000 billion rials at 
 a seven-day maturity and a minimum rate of 23 percent (an acceptance ratio
  of about 24 percent). No bids were received for outright securities purch
 ases\, and repo bids were about 30 percent lower than at the 25th auction.
