DESCRIPTION:The European Central Bank's Governing Council held its monetary
  policy meeting in Frankfurt on 23 July 2026 (1 Mordad 1405) to decide on 
 eurozone interest rates. The Council kept the deposit facility rate at 2.2
 5%\, in line with market expectations (main refinancing operations at 2.40
 % and the marginal lending facility at 2.65%). The hold followed a 25 basi
 s point increase at the June meeting and affects the euro-dollar exchange
