DESCRIPTION:Eurostat published its flash estimate of second-quarter 2026 GD
 P on 30 July 2026. The euro area economy grew 0.4 percent on the previous 
 quarter\, against flat growth in the first quarter and a market expectatio
 n of 0.2 percent\, while annual growth accelerated to 1.0 percent from 0.5
  percent. The wider European Union grew 0.5 percent over the same quarter.
