Today, Monday, 9 Shahrivar 1405 (August 31, 2026), Taban Petrochemical's shares, 4.6875 billion of them, go public in the largest IPO in Tehran Stock Exchange history. It comes right after a week in which TEDPIX jumped 2.03 percent Saturday to a record 6,516,184 points and the free-market dollar climbed 6,110 tomans (3.06 percent), from 199,900 tomans on 1 Shahrivar to 206,010 tomans on Saturday.
