Arbaeen pilgrim foreign currency sale window closes
The sale of Arbaeen pilgrimage foreign currency, open since 11 July 2026, closes on 3 August 2026, one day before Arbaeen. Under the Central Bank of Iran instruction, each eligible pilgrim above five years of age who has registered on the Samah system may buy up to 200,000 Iraqi dinars at the Exchange Center agreed rate with no commission. This year the licensed exchange bureau network was added to the distribution channel alongside the participating banks.
