EU MiCA transitional period for crypto-asset service providers ends
The EU-wide transitional period that allowed crypto-asset service providers to operate under national licenses ahead of full Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) authorization ended on July 1, 2026. Providing crypto-asset services in the EU without MiCA authorization after this date is a breach of EU law.
