On the first working day of the closing week and with the Tehran stock market shut for the weekend (Thursday, 1 Mordad 1405 / 23 July 2026), the transfer (havaleh) dollar rate on the Exchange Center edged up to a fresh high of 151,368 tomans. In the free market, by contrast, the dollar slipped about 0.2 percent to around 192,000 tomans.
In the gold market, each gram of 18-karat gold traded near 18.8 million tomans, slightly below the previous day, while the Emami coin rose about 0.26 percent to near 189.5 million tomans as the coin premium widened again. Global spot gold held above 4,100 dollars. Together these signals point to a cautious market amid regional tensions and in the absence of stock trading.
