At the press conference introducing Ehya Steel Foolad Baft, trading under the symbol Ehya, held at Iran Farabourse on Saturday 1 August 2026 (10 Mordad 1405), Hossein Valamehr of the valuation firm said each share is valued at 2,582 rials, based on four standard methods weighted equally and a forecast period covering 1405 to 1409. He said the company's total assets reached 14.3 trillion tomans in the 1404 financial year, rising above 17 trillion tomans in the unaudited six month report for 1405. Its net profit margin in 1404 was 8 percent.
Chief executive Yaghoub Hatami said the main development projects are a 40 megawatt solar power plant, an expansion of the electricity substation and a hot briquette unit. He said the solar project started this year and has reached 7 percent physical progress, that construction of the farm will be completed by the end of the current year, and that the plant will come on stream from the start of 1406.
Hatami added that the company lost 30 to 40 percent of its production capacity over the past two years because of the energy imbalance. IMIDRO and the Bank of Industry and Mine each hold 20 percent of the shares, and the company ranked third among sponge iron exporters last year with 67,000 tonnes of exports.
