The Central Bank of Iran, citing the export proceeds repatriation working group, said exporters with unmet FX obligations from the Iranian years 1397 to 1400 can clear them through a rial settlement until the end of 1405. Trading firms pay the equivalent of 10% and manufacturing firms 5% of the euro remittance buying rate at the Iran Center for Exchange and Gold. The payment portal remains available until the end of the current Iranian year. The announcement was reported on Sunday, 26 Mehr 1405 (October 18, 2026).
