26 July 2026 | 3 months ago
Iran's road management centre issued a notice on Saturday, 25 July 2026, detailing traffic restrictions on the country's main routes during the Arbaeen travel period.
Such restrictions typically include bans on truck and trailer movement during set windows on the roads leading to Iran's western borders, and they affect road freight planning and supply chains in the coming weeks.
At the same time, the governor of Ilam province has reported more than 500,000 pilgrims crossing at the Mehran border since the start of the month of Safar, and Iran Air has raised the number of departure points for Najaf flights from 7 to 14.
