Rail Gardesh Iranian (RGIP) said in a group B disclosure on Tuesday, 20 October 2026 that, under a Market Regulation Headquarters resolution and a notice from the national railway company, ticket prices on all passenger trains, including five-star services, rise 39% from the start of Aban 1405 (23 October 2026).

All of the company's passenger trains are five-star, so the increase covers every passenger service it runs. The company says the revenue gain is certain, but its size will depend on demand, occupancy and peak and off-peak fares. The effect on profit cannot be estimated for now because the cost of services, especially locomotive supply and catering and equipment items, is shaped by inflation. Financial effects will be reported later. The full text is in Codal filing 1615169.
