Global commodity market data on Thursday, 30 July 2026 (8 Mordad 1405) pointed to a broad rally across precious and industrial metals. Palladium rose 4.43 percent from the previous day to 1,308 dollars an ounce, and platinum gained 3.7 percent to 1,661.60 dollars.
In the same session, silver rose 1.9 percent to 58.71 dollars an ounce and copper gained 2.7 percent to 6.45 dollars a pound. Spot gold rose 1.08 percent to 4,110 dollars. Sahmino's own price data put spot gold at 4,109.95 dollars at 20:29 on Thursday, 30 July, up 1.3 percent on the previous day, so the move is confirmed by two independent readings.
The move came after the release of the US personal consumption expenditures price index the same day, which showed annual growth of 3.7 percent and core growth of 3.3 percent, published one day after the Federal Reserve held its policy rate in the 3.5 to 3.75 percent range. The global gold ounce is the most important external driver of gold and coin prices in Iran's market, and moves in it typically pass through to domestic rates after a short lag.
