Tehran Main Index Down About 1.7% at 11:30 as Farabourse Index Slips 1.4%

According to data recorded by Sahmino, the Tehran Stock Exchange main index (TEDPIX) stood at 7,930,223 at 11:30 on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 (5 Aban 1405), down 139,566 points (1.73 percent) from Monday's October 26 close of 8,069,788. The bourse equal-weight index was at 2,202,391, down 27,178 points (1.22 percent). Donya-e-Eqtesad had reported at 10:53 that the main index was down 1.39 percent in early trading, near 7,957,000, so selling pressure deepened after that.

The Farabourse overall index, a separate exchange index, was at 66,011 at the same hour, down 929 points (1.39 percent). On Monday the Tehran main index had risen about 54,000 points. These are mid-session figures and will differ from today's closing price, which settles after 13:00.
