Iran's Statistical Center (SCI) reports that year on year rent inflation reached 31.2% in Khordad 1405 (the month ending June 21, 2026), against a nationwide headline inflation rate of 88.6% for the same month, a gap of roughly 57 percentage points that put rent at the bottom of the consumer basket's inflation table. In Tehran, advertised rents reached about 660,000 toman per square meter, up around 43% from a year earlier.
