Iran labour force survey results - spring 1405
The Statistical Center of Iran published its spring 1405 labour force survey results on 29 July 2026 (7 Mordad 1405). The unemployment rate for the population aged 15 and over came in at 9.1 percent, up 1.8 percentage points from spring 1404, while the economic participation rate stood at 40.7 percent. The employed population was reported at 24,672,000, about 450,000 fewer than a year earlier.
