On Friday, 11 September 2026, Axios and Reuters reported, citing sources, that Saudi Arabia's crown prince asked Trump for US military help against Ansar Allah and that Washington offered intelligence support instead of strikes. Across the same four sessions, Brent crude travelled $12.8 on Sahmino's own series but closed only $5.4 higher, from $99.17 on 8 September to $104.60 on 11 September. Spot gold ended $9 lower over the same span and the free market dollar rose 9,275 tomans.
