Wednesday morning, 24 Tir 1405 (15 July 2026). In overnight and early parallel-market trade, gold and coins ran ahead of the dollar: the Emami coin rose 2.25% to about 180,985,000 tomans and a gram of 18-karat gold gained 1.19% to about 17,892,000 tomans, while the free-market dollar held its record 184,110 tomans. The driver was global gold near $4,050 after a soft US inflation print. Tehran's bourse fell again, with 3,275 billion tomans of retail money leaving the market.
