The head of Iran's Targeted Subsidies Organization said on Thursday, 22 Mordad 1405 (August 13, 2026), that the gradual disbursement of a further 110,000 billion tomans of wheat farmers' claims began on 23 Mordad (August 14) and will continue through Sunday, 25 Mordad (August 16). The payment brings cumulative disbursements to farmers from 110,100 to 220,100 billion tomans, with about 98% of the country's wheat farmers now having received payment.
