US PPI release (BLS) - September 2026

The US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) released the Producer Price Index (PPI) for final demand covering August 2026 data. The index level rose to 157.41 points, up from 156.78 points in July 2026. The index, based on 2009=100, measures price changes at the producer level before goods and services reach consumers, and is one of the main gauges of inflationary pressure in the US economy.
