According to a report by the Qarz al-Hasaneh information portal published on Thursday, 30 July 2026 (8 Mordad 1405), Bank Mehr Iran paid out about 2 million loans worth more than 2,060 trillion rials (206 trillion tomans) in the first four months of the Iranian year 1405.
The same report says Tir (22 June to 22 July) accounted for more than 520,000 loans worth roughly 600 trillion rials (60 trillion tomans), meaning about a quarter of the four month loan count was disbursed in a single month. Loan applications at the bank are handled remotely through the QBank app, and its credit products are grouped into three categories: retail and social, guilds and trades, and corporate.
Bank Mehr Iran is the country's largest interest free (qarz al-hasaneh) bank and has paid out the highest number of loans in the banking network in recent years. The volume and pace of interest free lending is one of the variables bearing on small scale liquidity and on consumer demand in the goods and vehicle markets.
