Bloomberg's monthly survey found that OPEC crude production rose by 1.16 million barrels per day in July 2026 to average 19.44 million barrels per day, with almost all of the increase coming from three Persian Gulf producers.
Iraq led the gain, adding 460,000 barrels per day to reach 2.3 million barrels, and its July exports rose 37% on heavier loadings from the southern port of Basra. Kuwait's output rose 360,000 barrels to average 1.57 million barrels per day, while Saudi Arabia added 390,000 barrels to reach 7.4 million barrels per day, still several million barrels below its pre war level.
Group output overall remains well below pre war levels, as Persian Gulf shipping traffic stays disrupted and the Red Sea route remains exposed. Core OPEC Plus members agreed on Sunday to raise output by 188,000 barrels from September. The Bloomberg survey is compiled from ship tracking data, official information and estimates from consultants including Kpler and Rystad Energy.
