According to ISNA, as carried by Donya-e-Eqtesad, Iran's Currency and Gold Exchange Center announced its 157th gold bullion auction will be held on Tuesday, 14 Mehr 1405 (October 6, 2026). Applicants must deposit a margin of 50 billion rials (5 billion tomans) per bar, hold a valid business license registered on the National Licensing Portal, and comply with the Exchange Center's directive No. 10. Eligible buyers include wholesale gold bullion sellers, gold jewelry manufacturers, melted gold retailers, and online gold and jewelry platforms, with each applicant capped at 25 bars per calendar week.
