Diamond Motor receives type approval to import the Toyota Land Cruiser 300, valid until December 2027

Documents reported on Monday, August 3, 2026, show that Diamond Motor has received type approval for the Toyota Land Cruiser 300, joining the official importers of the model in Iran's market. The approval is a final certificate, indicating that standard testing and safety and emissions requirements have been completed. The permit is valid until December 22, 2027.

According to the registered details, the vehicle will be offered as the Toyota Land Cruiser Twin Turbo VX.R, model year 2026, powered by a 3.4 litre six-cylinder twin-turbo engine coded V35A. Combined fuel consumption is recorded on the certificate at 9.38 litres per 100 kilometres, and the vehicle is supplied to the regional standard used for the Persian Gulf littoral states. The registered identification code and chassis number prefix indicate the vehicle is built on Toyota's production lines in Japan.

Receiving the permit does not amount to a price announcement. Once import tariffs, taxes and duties are taken into account, the final market price of the vehicle in Iran has not yet been determined.
