Dollar Transfer Rate at Currency Exchange Center Edges Up to 177,872 Tomans, Dirham at 48,433

The dollar transfer rate at the Currency and Gold Exchange Center rose to 177,872 tomans on Thursday, 16 Mehr 1405 (8 October), up from 177,340 tomans the previous day, Donya-e-Eqtesad reported. On Tuesday, 14 Mehr (6 October), the same rate stood at 176,810 tomans, so the transfer dollar has gained about 1,062 tomans in three days.

The euro transfer rate at the center eased from 199,718 to 199,004 tomans, while the UAE dirham rose from 48,288 to 48,433 tomans. The transfer rate is the reference for exporters and importers on the official channel and differs from the free-market rate; the free-market dollar traded around 267,200 tomans the same day.
