Dubai-listed Emaar Properties, developer of the Burj Khalifa, said on Thursday, August 6, 2026 (14 Mordad 1405), that its second-quarter 2026 net profit attributable to shareholders rose 9 percent year on year to AED 3.67 billion ($999 million). According to Zawya, the increase came despite regional geopolitical tensions during the period.
The company's net profit for the first half of 2026 reached AED 8.67 billion, according to the report. Emaar, the master developer behind much of Dubai's luxury real estate including the Burj Khalifa, continues to benefit from strong demand in Dubai's property market, though the quarterly profit was lower than the previous quarter.
