Exchange traded gold funds topped Iran's weekly returns table for the week to 31 July with 17.92 percent

According to Sena, a review of returns across Iran's financial markets in the week to 31 July 2026 (9 Mordad 1405) shows that every exchange based investment instrument recorded a positive return over the period, while prices in the currency, gold and crypto markets fell.
Among exchange traded funds, gold funds posted the highest weekly return with an average of 17.92 percent. They were followed by silver funds at 14.34 percent, saffron funds at 13.4 percent and equity funds at 10.27 percent. Average returns were 7.33 percent for funds of funds, 6.63 percent for energy carrier funds, 4.11 percent for the stock market itself, 3.5 percent for fixed income funds, 2.2 percent for mixed funds and 1.4 percent for real estate funds.
Over the same week, the price of one gram of 18 carat gold fell 1.61 percent, the Bahar Azadi coin fell 1.4 percent, average prices across selected digital currencies fell 2.11 percent, and the US dollar in the free market fell 0.07 percent.
