Faros, Fahamoon and Farouj Raise Domestic Ferrosilicon Prices by More Than 38 Percent

Three Tehran listed ferroalloy producers, Faros, Fahamoon and Farouj, said in separate Codal filings published Tuesday, 14 Mehr 1405 (October 6, 2026), and Wednesday, 15 Mehr 1405 (October 7, 2026), that under a license from Iran's Ferroalloy Industries Employers Association, the domestic price of bulk ferrosilicon (size 60 to 10) for the second half of the Iranian month of Mehr has been set at 3,059,000 rials per kilogram, more than 38 percent above the rate previously announced on Codal. The filings add that packaged product carries a further 15,000 rials per kilogram.
