Ghapak Pauses the Zarnan Land Sale Auction, While Keeping the Underlying Divestment Plan
14 October 2026 | 6 days ago
Pak Dairy (Ghapak, ticker LPAK) said in a Codal disclosure published on Tuesday 13 October 2026 (21 Mehr 1405) that its board has paused the auction process for the sale of its Zarnan land for now. The company cited a significant change in economic conditions, exchange-rate volatility and the difficulty of establishing the property's current fair value since the earlier decision to sell.
Ghapak stressed that the pause does not cancel the underlying divestment resolution. Relevant departments must take no further steps to market the property, and the board will decide when and how to resume after conditions stabilise and the land is revalued. The filing gives neither a new price nor a replacement auction date. No sale has yet been concluded, so no proceeds from this asset sale can currently be recognised.
