Tehran Main Index About 28,000 Points Below Tuesday's Close at Midday as the Equal-Weight Index Holds Higher; Farabourse Index at 66,106

The Tehran Stock Exchange main index stood at 8,432,069 points at 11:25 on Wednesday 14 October 2026 (22 Mehr 1405), 28,428 points (about 0.34 percent) below Tuesday's close of 8,460,497, which had come after a 1.52 percent rise. At the same hour the equal-weight index was up 8,036 points at 2,228,081. The divergence means larger stocks are dragging the index lower while the average symbol is trading more positively.

Khabaronline reported that the Farabourse main index also fell, by 116.85 points to 66,106. It wrote that Tehran's cash-market trades up to that moment came to 622,617 deals worth more than 251,000 billion rials, and Farabourse trades to 307,314 deals worth more than 114,000 billion rials.
