Gold and Coin Prices Rise Friday, September 4; Emami Coin at 233.5 Million Tomans

According to Donya-e-Eqtesad, Iran's gold and coin market rose on Friday, 13 Shahrivar 1405 (September 4, 2026). Global gold prices were quoted up 17 dollars on the day. In the domestic market, the Emami gold coin traded higher, at 233,500,000 tomans.

According to Sahmino's own price data, global gold (XAUUSD) was priced at about 4,470 dollars an ounce the same day, and the Emami coin at about 234,000,000 tomans, broadly in line with the cash market figure reported above. Iran's official currency and gold market is closed on Thursdays and Fridays, so rates on these two days are set based on informal trading and the global market.
