Iran Mercantile Exchange trades 521,289 tons of products in the week's final session

According to Bourse News, the Iran Mercantile Exchange handled trading of 521,289 tons of products in the week's final session on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 (14 Mordad 1405). The industrial hall saw 61,165 tons of rebar, 14,684 tons of hot rolled sheet and smaller volumes of billet, angle iron, channel iron, zinc ingot and copper wire change hands. The export hall handled sales of 24,764 tons of bitumen, 20,000 tons of clinker, 20,000 tons of steel products and 13,000 tons of cement. The cement hall traded 168,791 tons of product, and the open auction hall recorded sales of 62,000 tons of steel. The petrochemical hall handled 69,120 tons of polymer products, and the oil products hall sold 30,000 tons of lube cut.
