Iran Mercantile Exchange's Derivatives and Certificate Market Traded 11 Trillion Tomans Monday

According to Boursenews and IME Report, the Iran Mercantile Exchange's own reporting outlet, published on Tuesday, 18 August 2026 (27 Mordad 1405), the exchange's financial and derivatives market recorded a total of 2.051 billion contracts worth 11,000 billion tomans (11 trillion tomans) on Monday, 17 August (26 Mordad).
Per separate IME Report figures from the same day, in the deposit certificate market, 1,141,466,118 units of gold funds worth 7.5 trillion tomans, more than 892 million units of silver funds worth 975.4 billion tomans, and, in the saffron market, certificates and funds worth 330.7 billion tomans, known as "red gold," were traded.
