Iran Statistical Center: Consumer Inflation Rate Hits 73.6 Percent in Shahrivar 1405

According to the latest figures published by the Statistical Center of Iran (released 8 Mehr 1405, September 30, 2026), Iran's consumer inflation rate for Shahrivar 1405 (the month ending September 22, 2026) stood at 73.6 percent. The same data set put the producer inflation rate for spring 1405 (ended June 21, 2026) at 66.7 percent, and the unemployment rate for the same quarter at 9.1 percent. The Statistical Center also reported an economic growth rate of negative 10.1 percent for spring 1405 and a Gini coefficient of 0.3849 for Iranian year 1404 (ended March 2026). The figures represent the most authoritative official snapshot of Iran's prices, labor market and economic activity at the close of this summer.
