Concerns Over French Debt Put Pressure on the Euro

According to Mehr News Agency, France faced higher government borrowing costs on Friday, 10 Mehr 1405 (October 2, 2026), as its government debt-to-GDP ratio reached about 119 percent. The fiscal concerns have put the euro under pressure against the US dollar.
