Iran's Currency and Gold Exchange Center said its 152nd gold bullion auction will be held on Tuesday, 6 Mordad 1405 (28 July 2026), from 14:00 to 17:00 on the centre's trading floor.
According to the notice, applicants have until Monday, 5 Mordad (27 July) to deposit a margin of 50 billion rials (5 billion tomans) for each bar they request. The purchase ceiling is 25 bars per applicant per week, and four groups of gold-industry participants are eligible to take part. The weekly bullion auctions are one of the Exchange Center's tools for meeting investment demand in the gold market.
At the 151st auction, held on Tuesday, 30 Tir 1405 (21 July 2026), 24 kilograms of the 26 kilograms of bars offered were sold, for about 581.592 billion tomans. This week's session comes as the domestic gold market retreats: the Emami coin stood at 181.98 million tomans as of 15:34 on Sunday, 26 July 2026, down 1.37 percent on the day.
