Iran's agreed-rate dollar rises 218 tomans on Monday morning

Iran's agreed-rate (tavafoqi) dollar rose by 218 tomans on Monday morning, 27 July 2026, compared with the previous working day.
According to Sahmino price data, the sell rate for dollar remittances at the Iran Currency and Gold Exchange Centre stood at 151,787 tomans as of 07:47 local time, up 218 tomans or 0.14 percent from the previous reading. The buy rate for remittances stood at 150,421 tomans as of 08:02.
The small increase comes after the free-market dollar rate closed Sunday, 26 July, down 3,200 tomans, or 1.72 percent, at 186,500 tomans. On these figures the gap between the agreed rate and the free-market rate is about 35,000 tomans.
