The settlement director at Iran's Central Securities Depository and Settlement Company said in a report published on Monday 19 October 2026 (27 Mehr 1405) that its settlement-support mechanism, Tasvieh Yar, uses five banks to provide settlement financing to 76 brokerages. Member banks provide funds and electronic payment channels so brokerages can discharge their obligations from trading on time.

According to the official, 36 brokerages are covered by Tejarat Bank, 28 by Bank Mellat, 9 by Saman Bank, two by Bank Saderat and one by Parsian Bank. He stressed that bank assistance does not transfer a brokerage's legal responsibility: if a bank does not pay on time, the brokerage remains responsible to the central depository for settlement.
