Iran's Health Ministry: at least 35 killed and 300 wounded in recent US strikes

Hossein Kermanpour, a spokesperson for Iran's Health Ministry, said on Friday, July 17, that at least 35 people had been killed and 300 others wounded in US strikes on Iran this month. Iranian officials say US forces have carried out hundreds of air attacks across various parts of the country over the past week.
The official toll was announced as nightly strikes continued and targeting widened to civilian infrastructure, including water and power facilities in the south of the country. The ongoing military conflict between Iran and the United States has increased pressure on the region's financial and energy markets and fueled rising prices in Iran's domestic currency and gold markets.
