IRGC Tehran Province Command Denies Reports of an Explosion in Eastern Tehran

After some social media users claimed in the early hours of Monday, October 19, 2026 (27 Mehr 1405) that explosions had been heard in eastern Tehran, the public relations office of the IRGC's Sayyed al-Shuhada Corps for Tehran Province issued a statement saying the claims were unfounded. It said no explosion or security incident had been reported in eastern Tehran so far, and asked citizens to follow news of events through official sources. Khabaronline and Donya-e-Eqtesad also carried the denial.
