According to Arzdigital, money transfer company MoneyGram said by Tuesday, August 11, 2026 (20 Mordad 1405), that it had expanded its cash-to-crypto conversion infrastructure to the Solana network. The move allows wallets, exchanges and apps in the Solana ecosystem to connect to MoneyGram's wide cash payment network. The new service, called MoneyGram Ramps, enables converting cash into digital assets and back, and is available for cash deposits in more than 25 countries and cash withdrawals in more than 170 countries and territories; crypto developers and platforms can use the feature without building their own banking and cash payment infrastructure. MoneyGram, which serves about 60 million active customers, framed the move as part of the wider use of stablecoins in payments and cross-border remittances.
