Yahya Foroutan, CEO of Parsian Bank, told a press conference with reporters, reported by Boursenews on Monday, 17 August 2026 (26 Mordad 1405), that the bank's financial statements turned to profit in the Iranian year 1404 (ended March 2026) and its capital adequacy ratio has turned positive.
He said Parsian Bank corrected its book accumulated losses by selling certain investments in 1403 (2024/25), then carried out a capital increase in three stages, the last of which was completed at an extraordinary general meeting on 22 July 2026 (31 Tir 1405), raising the bank's capital to 50 trillion tomans. Foroutan said the rise in the exchange traded value of the bank's shares, ticker Vapars (BPAR), reflects the capital market's awareness of this trend.
