Petrochemical Tabriz's Four-Month Sales Reach 15.2 Trillion Tomans, Up 120 Percent

According to Boursenews, published on Tuesday, 18 August 2026 (27 Mordad 1405), Petrochemical Tabriz, a diversified olefin and polymer producer, posted sales of 15,215 billion tomans (15.2 trillion tomans) in the first four months of the Iranian year 1405, up 120 percent from the same period last year, a figure roughly equal to the company's sales over eight months of the prior year.

Per the report, over the first 19 weeks of this year the company has offered an average of 4,000 tons of polymer products per week on the Iran Mercantile Exchange, with total supply reaching 71,709 tons by the second week of Mordad against demand of 93,246 tons, of which 57,087 tons were traded. Its average sales price this year has reached 188.7 million tomans per ton, and in Tir (June 22 to July 22) alone it recorded sales of 3,957 billion tomans, up 250 percent from Tir last year.
