Rebuilding of Nine Damaged Bridges and Two Tunnels in Hormozgan Nears Completion

According to EcoIran, citing Sad Online, nine bridges and two tunnels in Hormozgan province that were damaged in US strikes on July 17 and 18, 2026, have been rebuilt with the involvement of the Khatam al-Anbiya Construction Headquarters, the provincial road maintenance department and local contractors. Sharafi, Hormozgan's director general of roads and road transport, said the work has reached its final stages and most of it is complete.
According to the report, published early on Friday, September 25, the main rebuilding of the bridges and one of the two tunnels has been finished after about two months of continuous work, and some of them are due to be opened on Saturday, September 26, in the presence of the Minister of Roads and Urban Development as part of a national programme. The routes are among Hormozgan's main road links.
