Saudi Crude Exports From Ras Tanura Jump as Hormuz Traffic Falls to Just Four Vessels

According to OilPrice.com on 18 September 2026 (27 Shahrivar 1405), Saudi Arabia has sold as much as 60 million barrels of crude oil for September and October loadings from the Persian Gulf port of Ras Tanura, routed around the East-West pipeline, which remains offline. Separately, shipping data published the same morning showed only four commercial vessels transited the Strait of Hormuz on 17 September (26 Shahrivar).

Global oil prices are now on track for their first weekly loss after three straight weeks of gains. Anadolu Agency reported on 17 September that oil fell more than 3 percent, with Brent dropping to around 102 dollars a barrel and WTI slipping below 100 dollars. Sahmino's price board showed Brent trading at 103.52 dollars as of 16:03 Tehran time on 18 September.
