11 August 2026 · 2 months ago

According to Iran's capital market news agency SENA, in Monday's session on 10 August 2026 (19 Mordad 1405) on the Tehran Stock Exchange, the Industry 30 index rose in line with the main equity benchmarks, with industry indices gaining an average of 1.21 percent. The metal products index jumped 6.72 percent to a record 513,237 points, partly reflecting the reopening of several sector symbols without a price band; the index is up 112 percent since the start of the Iranian year 1405. Petroleum products rose 3.49 percent (up 111 percent year to date) and the radio industry rose 2.98 percent (up 115 percent year to date), the next best performers.

By contrast, the retail index fell 2.88 percent, its weakest daily performance for a second straight day, though it remains up 117 percent since the start of the year. Computers fell 1.58 percent and construction materials fell 1.42 percent. By the close of the same session, the Industry 16 index reached its own record high, led by pharmaceuticals, up 140 percent year to date, and agriculture, up 127 percent.
