Tehran Stock Exchange Index Breaks Its Record High for a Third Straight Day of Gains

Tehran Stock Exchange's main index (TEDPIX) moved past its previous all-time high of about 7,557,000 points during mid-session trading on Tuesday, 7 Mehr 1405 (September 29, 2026). According to Donya-e-Eqtesad, the index climbed to about 7,613,000 at the open and stood around 7,586,000 at 10:51 local time.

Sahmino's own recorded data confirms the move: by 11:30 the same day, TEDPIX was up about 135,000 points (roughly 1.8 percent) from the previous close of 7,459,342 on 6 Mehr, reaching 7,594,699. The equal-weight index rose about 24,600 points to 2,029,759, and exchange turnover had reached nearly 29,844 billion tomans by that hour. This is the third straight session of gains, following rises on 5 and 6 Mehr; these are mid-session figures, with the final tally due after the close.
