Tehran's Main Index Rises 0.94 Percent in Wednesday's Morning Trading

Tehran's main stock index (TEDPIX) rose 67,154 points, or 0.94 percent, to 7,234,559 points by 11:30 local time on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 (1 Mehr 1405). Farabourse's main index gained 785 points, or 1.38 percent, to 57,571 points over the same period. The rise reverses Tuesday's session (September 22, 31 Shahrivar), when the main index had closed down 1.55 percent. Among today's buy queue standouts, Mobarakeh Steel (فولاد) and National Iranian Copper Industries (فملی) both had shares queued to buy, while Bank Mellat (وبملت) was trading at its daily price ceiling.
