Tejarat Bank (BTEJ) said in a disclosure published on Monday, October 26, 2026 (4 Aban 1405), that Branch 142 of the Tehran General Civil Court had ruled a settlement over the transfer of shares in National Iranian Investment Company (NIKI) invalid and ordered the shares returned and the transfer records corrected. The bank said the ruling is not final, that it objects to it and will pursue its legal rights. On claims relating to share profits and dividends, the court issued a decision not to hear the claim at this stage. The bank will disclose any final financial effect through Codal once the proceedings are settled.
