Zar Morgh Raises Loose Egg Price by About 11 Percent

Egg producer Zar Morgh said in a Tier A material disclosure filed on Codal that, effective Monday, October 5, 2026 (13 Mehr 1405), with authorization from its trading committee, it raised the price of loose eggs from 2,250,000 rials to 2,500,000 rials per unit, an increase of nearly 11 percent. The company, which is required to disclose any price change crossing the 10 percent threshold, said loose eggs account for about 85 percent of its sales volume.
