Khimen closed both green and red on Monday: the 40 rial gap between closing price and last trade, and which one the index counted

On Monday 3 August 2026 (12 Mordad 1405), the Khimen board at Iran Khodro's Iman Khodro Shargh carried two numbers with opposite signs: a last trade of 4,440 rials (up 0.23 percent) and a closing price of 4,400 rials (down 0.68 percent). The gap was 40 rials, and only the second number entered the main index. Same-day data shows base volume for Tehran-listed symbols is set to 1 share, so today's closing price is simply the volume-weighted average of the session.
